Farmerama: New Fields and New Quests for Free-to-Play Browser Game

Online game publishers Bigpoint have announced that today, August 11th, the farmers of the free-to-play casual sim, Farmerama, will be getting the chance to complete new quests and try out new fields. These new additions are sure to put your farming skills to the test!

The new Comfort Fields will be going live today, according to Bigpoint (Ponyrama, ZooMumba). These new fields give you the chance to have a good harvest and not spend the entire day in the world of Farmerama. Starting at level 60, you will be able to purchase these new fields in the field tool bar for a nice price of 500 CC. These fields can also be used in Bahamarama as well.

How does it work? The super field will make the crops planted there take a longer time to grow, approximately 4 times as long. However, the harvest you receive will be triple what you would get out of a normal field, as well as having the EP of the harvest doubled. Weeds will begin to appear on the field after a span of 48 hours. Be careful though because if you delete the fields, they will disappear and not be put back into your inventory.

Additionally, there are some new quests lined up to go live this afternoon. Three entirely new quest campaigns will be available in the Farmer’s Society, so you’d best be ready to really get to work!
